Justin Bieber is Richest Teen in Entertainment Biz

While it’s nice that Justin Bieber now has a street named after him in a small town in Texas, you have to assume that he prefers the economic spoils of his fame a bit more.

And what spoils they are! According to People, Bieber is the richest teen in entertainment, having taken in an astounding $53 million last year.

Of course, that isn’t just cash from album sales or even his massively successful arena tour. When you consider just how many Bieber dollars there are, you have to remember that he also licenses his name and likeness to all sorts of stuff that has nothing to do with music, like his fragrance (which accounted for a pretty big chunk of change). He also cleared a bunch of green thanks to Never Say Never, the biopic/concert movie that came out earlier this year.

Musicians dominated People‘s list of the richest teens, as touring and diversification allowed for a lot more paydays than movie or television stars have. Bieber finished just ahead of fellow pop star Miley Cyrus, who took home $48 million, mostly from tour receipts. Nick Jonas, another kid who hit the road hard, banked $12.5 million. Jaden and Willow Smith not only share parents and a penchant for violence in their art, but they also co-opt the last two spots on the top five, having scored $9 million each.

Sitting just behind the Smiths? Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez, who stuffed $8.5 million into a bag with a dollar sign on it. That’s no small change, but now that these figures are out there, Biebs better be picking up the tabs at Friday’s (assuming they eat at Friday’s, which is what most of us did with our girlfriends when we were 17).

Selena Gomez Has Never Been in a Club

Selena Gomez has it all: fame, fortune AND a hot boyfriend. In fact, she could probably get away with anything — even going to 21+ clubs — but she says it’s just not the scene for her. Even though her music with her band, The Scene, is played in clubs worldwide, the 19-year-old former Disney darling has never been privy to actually hearing it in action.

“I’ve had four number one club hits and I’ve never stepped foot in a club!” Selena told Channel 96.1 when she was on tour in Charlotte, NC earlier this month. “It’s kind of funny, but it’s really sweet. It’s kind of cool. So maybe one day I’ll be able to hear it.”

Staying out of the partying scene isn’t the only way Selena keeps grounded. She also is saving her money responsibly and says she’d probably only spend a big chunk of change if she bought a car.

“I’m actually not really allowed to ‘blow it away’ because my mom and my managers are like kind of managing me,” she admitted. “So they help me and they guide me.”

Plenty was accomplished at the Do Something Awards on Sunday: A comeback performance from Demi Lovato, a healthy dose of Justin Bieber, a hosting dry-run for Emmys emcee-to-be Jane Lynch and some honoring of charitable youth all went down in Hollywood during the ceremony.

The Do Something Awards, hosted again by "Glee" star Lynch, brought celebrities out to celebrate a young generation of leaders who care about causes such as special-needs kids, ending hunger and educating refugee children.

Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus to Do Dirty Dancing?

The 1987 Dirty Dancing Movie is back! Will Justin Bieber play the role?

According to Marieclaire.co.uk, Kenny Ortega, the choreographer for the original 1987 movie, has confirmed he will direct a modern remake of the film.

Kenny Ortega says:
 ‘The opportunity to direct Dirty Dancing is like returning home for me. I am looking forward to assembling a great creative team and an exciting cast to bring Dirty Dancing to the screen for a new generation.’

Although it is yet to be decided who will star in the iconic summer romance drama, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with whispers that Justin Timberlake, Rob Pattinson, Zac Efron, Derek Hough and Justin Bieber could play heartthrob Johnny Castle, made famous by the late Patrick Swayze.

Meanwhile, Glee’s Lea Michele, Emma Stone and Miley Cyrus have all been tipped for the role of ‘Baby’, originally played by Jennifer Grey.

The producers believe this is the time to finally remake Dirty Dancing.

Justin Bieber 'Someday' Sundae Looks Delicious!

Are you ready for this? UK department store Harrod's is now offering customers a gelato sundae, which was inspired by Justin Bieber's Someday perfume. Oh, and it costs $32.

According to the Daily Mail, the "Bieber Bocker Glory" was created to coincide with the launch of the fragrance. The sweet treat is comprised of berries, vanilla and fresh pear topped with lavender sprinkles and edible glitter.

While the cost of the sundae is pretty steep, it's for a good cause. Just like the Bieb's perfume, proceeds from the sale of the sundae are being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The special dessert will be available throughout August.

Justin Bieber Tried to Play Matchmaker Kim Kardashian's Little Sister

Justin Bieber tried to play matchmaker with Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian’s lil sister. Last year, Kim asked Justin Bieber to date her sister, Kendal, well.. apparently it didn’t work out.

And today, JB tried to set up one of his friends with Kendal. He tweeted: “Hey @Kendalljenner you should let my boy @iamjulykeyz take you on a date ; dm him.”

Keyz is a producer and friend of Justin, and apparently he really has taken a liking to Kendal. After Justin sent the message, Keyz tweeted at Kendall too, letting her know that he was serious.

When Kendall didn’t tweet back, Justin sent two followup messages to try and force an answer out of her.

Several hours later, Kendall finally responded. “Only if you & @selenagomez join!

“Yeah, I wouldn’t mind that.”

But Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian‘s kid sister might be too busy for boys. Earlier this month Kim, 30, revealed that Jenner was the new face of Australian swimwear designer Leah Madden’s Summer 2012 campaign Pirouette. Kendall has also posed for Forever 21 alongside her 13-year-old sister, Kylie.

“I love everything about [modeling],” she recently told Teen Vogue.”Although my favorite part would have to be wearing cool clothes and getting my hair and makeup all done.”
